I can sit here and give you the statistics and the fluff, but instead let me tell you how I came to be an agent with Allison James Estates & Homes after having successfully worked for a major
real estate franchise for almost 15 years......
I actually signed on with Shells Realty Inc. who was strong independent presence in my market. I was intrigued by company from the moment I walked through the door. I had already talked to a few of the agents who worked at Shells prior to my visit and they were all totally committed and had nothing but great things to say about the broker & the company. When I met with broker, I was not only impressed with his knowledge and his use of the latest technology, but I was impressed with his positive outlook and the time he took in his busy day to sit and talk with me. I know he was busy that day, yet not once did he rush our meeting. I left there that day feeling energized and I knew immediately that Shells was the right place for me.
Little did I know, that shortly after I signed on with Shells Realty, Inc. that they would merge with Allison James Estates & Homes. This unexpected change, was a real benefit. All the things I liked about Shells remained the same, including the broker, plus I now had the Allison James Estates & Homes network. Allison James Estates & Homes has agents in several states including, but not limited to Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas, California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Nevada, with more in the works.
With the merger in August 2008, Allison James Estates & Homes now has over 500 agents. Even though the market is in a recession mode - they expect to continue to grow.
Allison James Estate & Homes will maintain an affiliation with Shells Settlement Services,
Shells Mortgage (which has access to nearly 100 lenders) and Shells Insurance. Though
there is no pressure to use these other service, it is wonderful to have them available for
the customers that may need one or all of them. It really is the total package.
